MedCAT AI Care – Vietnam’s First Specialized Healthcare Chatbot

MedCAT officially launched MedCAT AI Care 1.0, the first specialized healthcare chatbot in Vietnam. The product provides reliable information on diseases, medicines, nutrition, and healthcare. Its database is curated by MedCAT’s doctors and pharmacists from trusted international sources, combined with AI technology to minimize “hallucinations” and improve accuracy.

The chatbot is expected to become an important part of MedCAT’s digital health–insurance ecosystem, bringing more personalized experiences to Vietnamese users.

Hanoi, August 27, 2025 – MedCAT Joint Stock Company officially announced the launch of MedCAT AI Care version 1.0, a specialized healthcare chatbot providing information on symptoms, medicines, nutrition, and health care at: https://aicare.medcat.vn.

Previously, MedCAT AI Care was introduced in a pilot demonstration at the inauguration of the National Data Center on August 18, 2025, where it attracted significant attention.

MedCAT AI Care was developed to provide users with fast and reliable medical reference information. Its database is curated by MedCAT’s team of doctors and pharmacists from reputable, internationally standardized sources, combined with AI technology to minimize the “hallucination” issues often encountered with generative AI models, thereby improving accuracy.

Ms. Dang Thi Anh Tuyet – CEO of MedCAT JSC shared:
“MedCAT AI Care is designed to deliver higher accuracy for medical and pharmaceutical information compared to general-purpose chatbot platforms. More importantly, we are gradually building a self-owned healthcare database for Vietnamese people, laying the foundation to connect with personal health records, thereby supporting more effective health monitoring and patient care.”

Version 1.0 marks only the beginning. In the coming phases, MedCAT will continue to enhance the product with personalized features, aiming to become an essential part of the digital healthcare–insurance ecosystem that the company is developing.

Before MedCAT AI Care, MedCAT had introduced MedCAT IDUS – a sovereign AI core platform capable of reading, extracting, and automatically generating databases with an accuracy of over 97% by field and nearly 100% by character. The solution operates independently of external APIs, affirming MedCAT’s AI sovereignty strategy and contributing to national data security.

In parallel, MedCAT has also deployed MedCAT AI Insurance, an end-to-end AI-powered solution for automating health insurance claim processing, delivering value for insurers and improving customer experience.
