MedCAT attends ASEAN-Korea Startup Week 2025

MedCAT is deeply honored to have been selected as one of the three startups representing Vietnam to participate in the ASEAN-Korea Startup Week 2025 – an event organized by the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC), an intergovernmental organization under the Korean government, in collaboration with 10 ASEAN member states.

We are truly privileged to be chosen for the ASEAN-Korea Startup Week 2025 program, hosted by the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) in Seoul, South Korea.

Since 2018, the ASEAN–Korea Startup Week has been held annually to strengthen the startup ecosystem connection between ASEAN and South Korea. This year's program brings together 30 outstanding startups from 10 ASEAN nations, nominated by the ASEAN Embassies in Seoul and the ASEAN Coordinating Committee on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ACCMSME).

Unlike previous years which focused primarily on pitching, the 2025 program places a greater emphasis on training, mentoring, and capacity building. Participating startups benefit from:

  • In-depth workshops on the Korean market, fundraising strategies, and international expansion.

  • Direct networking opportunities with Korean investors, technology experts, and Venture Capital (VC) funds.

  • One-on-one mentoring sessions with experts to optimize their business models.

  • Site visits to leading technology hubs such as the Seoul AI Smart City Center and the Daegu Future Innovation Tech Expo.

The participating startups represent diverse fields, ranging from AI, healthcare, education, climate tech, and food-tech, opening up opportunities for multi-sector cooperation among Vietnam, ASEAN, and South Korea.The event also sees the participation of AKC leadership, representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat, and the Chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Seoul – reaffirming the Startup Week 2025 as a strategic bridge to foster innovation in the region.

Significantly, a selection of outstanding startups from the program will be chosen to participate in NextRise 2026, South Korea's largest startup exhibition, to further expand investment and global connection opportunities.

MedCAT is proud to represent Vietnam in the pitching session at the ASEAN–Korea Startup Week 2025, presenting its AI solution to leading Korean investors and experts.This is a valuable experience to expand cooperation and move closer to the international market.
